Who is interested in a Google Voice number?

By: Shawn July 31st, 2009

We know Monday’s can sometimes be rough, that is why we want to give out an unused Google Voice number! We just found an old, unused number that continues to be unused over here at CPS. So, why not give it out to some of our loyal readers? You don’t need to be a heavy-commenter, or even a 1-time commenter to get the number!

Let us know in the comments, how many of you want us to give away this Google Voice number? If we get enough support in the comments, we will launch an awesome contest to give away our unused Google Voice number. Not sure what you can do with Google Voice? We have all the features listed after the jump!

(Stolen from Google.com/GoogleVoice)

One number for all your calls and SMS

Voicemail as easy as email, with transcripts

More cool things you can do with Google Voice

To leave a comment: 1. Scroll down 2. Enter a name (real or fake, we don’t care) 3. Enter an e-mail address (NOT to be published, only to e-mail you and confirm you are not a machine) and enter your comment!

    Sure I’d love a chance at one!

    Read this site every day! Used to use a G1, but got my MyTouch 2 days ago and lovin it!

    Although, I used to be able to text without looking at the keyboard on the G1, so texting and driving is now hard… but I guess its better that I do not do that ;)

    @BigPocketPair – I’m assuming you live in a 3G area?

    Tell me how it is going from a slideout QWERTY keyboard to a touchscreen-only device? I feel like it would be hard if you send a lot of messages/e-mails.

    Google Voice on the MyTouch 3G would be an awesome combination. As soon as we get 20 comments on this thread we’ll look at launching the contest!

    I created like 20 gmail accounts like 3 years ago. I recently logged into them to sign up for a invite when google voice came out (since I already had it on my main gmail when they sent me an invite out of nowhere)and I the first 3 gmails I checked a few days later each had invites to google voice. I haven’t checked the rest, didn’t feel the need too.
