T-Mobile is preparing to launch a new 4G device. But this time, is not a phone. This is the first mifi device for the magente. The ZTE MF61 or T-Mobile Mobile 4G Hotspot. This new toy will have access to T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G Network. It will provide WiFi up to 5 devices. Broadcast 802,11 b/g, VPN support, Micro SDHC card slot.

The new T-Mobile Mobile Hotstpot 4G will e available in the coming weeks.

BTW, don’t forget that T-Mobile is launching another USB modem, The Rocket 3.0

FCC passed T-Mobile Rocket 3.0, USB Modem

After the launch of the Rocket 2 in August last year, T-Mobile is preparing a new Rocket to launch, this time Number 3. FCC just passed a new USB modem featuring HSDPA speeds.

This new USB modem made by ZTE (MF-683) can work in in HSUPA/HSDPA/WCDMA(Band I,II, IV) /EDGE/GPRS/GSM(quadband) networks. Services available : SMS service, Data service, Applications management,Support up to 16GB microSD card, etc.

According with FCC documentation, the Rocket 3.0 wont reach 4G speeds. (only HSDPA/HSUPA)..

FCC passed the first T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot, ZTE MF61

FCC just today passed the first 4G Mobile Hotspot for T-Mobile USA. This is the ZTE MF61.The MF61 from Chinese manufacturer ZTE is pretty clearly labeled “T-Mobile 4G Mobile Hotspot”. It will features quadband GSM/EDGE, HSPA+ band IV and WiFi b/g/n. Now T-Mobile can compete with AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. As you know so far, T-Mobile is the only company that does not offer Mobile hotspot devices .

T-Mobile Q3-Q4 2010 Road Map Leaked!

What we have here !!! .. thanks to our friend of Androidspin we can see, what it looks like, the Road Map for T-Mobile rest of the year !. Starting in July we can see that myTouch Slide and the Garminfone are getting and update, Froyo?. Nokia also has a presence in July. Possibly with a low end phone or N8?. Samsung Vibrant will be available this July 15. Motorola Charm will be available this July 21st, getting an update in September, Froyo.  Notbody noticed but T-Mobile will launch a new USB modem, from ZTE, the new webConnect Rocket 2.0 featuring even faster data speed. Also in July 2 LG phone, dLite and GS 170.  At the same time Dell will show up in July with a new NetBook.

In August, myTouch 3G will get an update, maybe 2.2? and Motorola Cliq XT will get Eclair Android 2.1.

In September 9th , HTC will launch a new phone, HTC Vanguard. This is possibly the first HSPA+ phone for T-Mobile’s 21Mbps Network. It will be an Android phone. Also, early September, RIM will be releasing a new phone, maybe the Curve 9300? Samsung also will be sticking out his head in late September.

Nothing in October, but in Novenber.. T-Mobile is planing to launch 2 new Motorola Android phones Begonia y Jordan. As you know, The new Motorola Jordan or Roi is coming to T-Mobile. We assumed it will be available for the holidays.  Both phone will be available November 3th.  Project Emerald will arrive with the HTC Emerald in Nov 5th.  At last, HTC will bring us a new Windows Phone,  Schubert. Maybe Windows 7?

Also 2 LG phone one will be Android.

T-Mobile webConnect Rocket 2.0 in the works!!, 850,1900, 1700 and 2100 3G bands

Few days ago, T-Mobile just announced the availability of its 3.5/4G Network in the Northeast. Speed test can easily can reach up to 21mbps. T-Mobile also said that speed can be considered 4G.  Continuing with its HSPA+ network, T-Mobile is working in a new USB modem, this time is the webConnect Rocket 2.0.

This new USB modem made by ZTE (MF-691) can work in in HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/WCDMA(Band I,II, IV and V) /EDGE/GPRS/GSM(quadband) networks. Services available : SMS service, Data service, Applications management,Support up to 16GB microSD card, etc.

Speed test :

HSUPA: 5.76Mbps max DL

HSDPA: 7.2Mbps DL
HSPA+: 21Mbps DL

ZTE USB Modem ready for T-Mobile 3G bands

FCC just passed a new USB modem compatible with T-Mobile 3G bands Band IV (1700/2100). If this ZTE finally lands on T-Mobile USA, it will be the third USB modem for the magenta carrier.

The new MF633 T USB modem features 2.0 USB, compatible with Windows Vista and XP, and Mac OSX. Services like SMS, Data applications manager. HSUPA until 7.2 Mbps and MicroSD storage up to 32 Gb.
