Three of the big-hitters in the wireless industry seem to have teamed up for a camapaign that will be based on the slogan “Needs, Meet Solutions.” Sporting two sexy pictures of the Touch Pro2 and T-Mobile Dash 3G, T-Mobile’s summer line-up alongside their advertising campaign is a major step in the right direction. At least in our opinion. Those loyal T-Mobile customers, think back only a few years ago when the Samsung T809 slider with a rotating camera was T-Mobile’s hottest high-end product. Now, with devices like the Touch Pro2, myTouch 3G, Dash 3G, Bigfoot, and other high-end Windows Mobile and Android devices coming down the tubes, T-Mobile seems to be aligning themselves with the other 3 big players in the wireless industry.

T-Mobile and HTC today announced a new version of the T-Mobile Shadow, a popular low-end Windows Mobile smartphone. The new Shadow has a faster processor and supports unlimited calls over Wi-Fi hotspots, as well as calling over regular cell-phone networks.

I owned the original T-Mobile Shadow and it wasn’t exactly the most coveted Windows Mobile handset I’ve ever had. Besides the nice and clear screen and the keyboard, we are going to see mostly the same phone. the only advantage is the addition UMA support.
