T-Mobile …UK…has announced a new Android tablet that it claims will be the centre of connected family life. A 15-inch tablet, it’s powered by the Vega device released by Innovative Converged Devices, and is apparently designed to sit in the kitchen, providing a central unit for the family to use.
It will come equipped with a T-Mobile SIM and Wi-Fi for connectivity, and features voice and video calling ability for hands free communication. A full web browser is also included on the Android system, which comes with core applications installed but doesn’t have access to Android Market, which T-Mobile says is due to other applications being tailored for smaller screens.

Seams like Google is starting his new project Nexus One with the left foot. Some users are reporting already that the Nexus One is running over EDGE where 3G is available. And even over EDGE , the T-Mobile G1 has 3 solid bars while the Nexus has only one. On the other hand, Google Nexus One support page, on the specifications list, said the Nexus was available to use WiFi b/g and N, while the HTC page only said b/g. Now Google has changed its website deleting the letter N from Wireless connectivity.
We don’t know who is right but because HTC built the phone.. we are going to stick with them.

The smartphone features UMTS 900 / 1700 / 2100 MHz connectivity – alongside quad-band GSM – and thus it’s compatible with T-Mobile’s 3G network and won’t work on AT&T’s 3G frequencies.
According to Engadget, T-Mobile USA may launch the Google Nexus One on January 5, 2010.
