The first week of November has been busy for phone manufacturers and carriers as they gear up, quite literally, for Nov. 27, the official first day of the holiday shopping season. And T-Mobile, after losing a quite significant number of subscribers on the Q3, is preparing to offer great deals and new smart phones.  T-Mobile will push more the selling of the first Android phone by Motorola, the Cliq. The Samsung Behold 2, will not stay behind. It is going to launch on Nov 12th.

Our friends form Engadget Mobile, got the new Blackberry Bold 9700 hitting to T-Mobile this friday the 16th.  It will be the first 3G-powered BlackBerry smartphone available through T-Mobile USA, and also the first smartphone from Research In Motion that includes built-in support for both 3G connectivity and voice calls over Wi-Fi.

Today, SonyEricsson has announced its new Android phone, The new Xperia X10.  Powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and running on Android 1.6 “Cupcake”, the X10 boasts a 4″ WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, an 8.1 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS. But, here is the good news. There are 2 versions of the Xperia X10, one with   UMTS HSPA 900/1700/2100 and UMTS HSPA 800/850/1900/2100. The first one is compatible with T-Mobile 3G bands, while the second with AT&T and other countries in Latin America.

RIM is preparing for the big announcement, the new Blackberry Bold series, 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9700 is going to be the first 3G Blackberry for T-Mobile USA ( HSDPA bands 2100/1700 and 850). The Blackberry Bold 9700 features a 480 x 360 display, best QWERTY keyboard in the world, an optical trackpad, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and zoom, 1500mAh battery, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, and BlackBerry OS 5.0. Pricing remains unknown, but the website says that the smartphone will become available on Nov 11th.

There were rumors about that  only pre-orders would be taken today, but it appears for all the world that T-Mobile is ready to start shipping the CLIQ to its loyal customers ahead of the November 2nd full release date.

Prices start from  $199.99 on a two-year agreement and 449.99 without extension of your contract.
