I think T-mobile is not going to be the only one who offers VoiP service. Verizon Wireless is going to join it offering the same kind of service. There were also, rumors about AT&T lanching the same service.

However now, this new pics of the new Samsung indicates that the waiting is going to end soon. AT&T is planing to launch this new Samsung VoiP device, now called The New AT&T Home Manager.

The new AT&T Home Manager by Samsung, looks like the the Ultra Mobile PC. Same touch screen, built-in speaker, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth. However, the new Manager will come only with 4 buttons on front : Home, Switch on/off, answer and end call; and 3 more on the side.

The Manager from AT&T can be connected directly to the router via WiFi. You can also use a second handset as a phone. The package will include console, router and phone.

This is going to be a good competition for T-Mobile Talk Forever service.

T-Mobile…. the war on VoiP is going to stat soon.

First off, I’d advise you to take the warning of T-Mobile and do not attempt to cut down phone lines like the lady in the video did. That said, on July 2nd, do feel free to cut up your old landline account since T-Mobile’s @Home service is going nationwide.

For an additional $10/month, T-Mobile will give you a custom Linksys WiFi router, to which you have to put T-Mobile SIM cards in, along with (we assume) a VTech wireless phone, although you are able to plug in a landline phone of your choice. Customers get the standard caller ID, voicemail, call waiting, and call forwarding in addition to the service’s main appeal: unlimited local and long distance.

Scroll down for the commercial featuring the woman who is none to pleased with her landline service.
