The Nexus One is introduced by Google as the next step in Android evolution and the hardware found on is really impressive to say the least. As it was rumored, it packs a giant 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The handset is also featuring the Snapdragon chipset with a processor, clocked at 1GHz. It runs on the Android 2.1 operating system.
Just today, FCC passed the new Nexus One possible hitting to Verizon Wireless and/or Sprint. HTC PB99300 is the ID model for the Nexus One CDMA version.

Google Nexus One can have some 3G issues but it runs the latest Android OS 2.1. Google has just announced the availability of its new Google Earth compatible only with Android 2.1 phones, like the Nexus One. With a 1GHz processor, advanced 3D graphics, and Android 2.1, Nexus One packs a lot of performance in a thin package. Ever since we got our hands on one, we have been putting it through its paces, drawing complex scenes of 3D imagery, terrain, roads, and other layers, and Nexus One never misses a beat.
In addition to Nexus One, Google Earth will be available in Android Market on most devices that have Android 2.1 or later versions. So as devices such as Droid get updated to Android 2.1, others will also be able to fly to the far reaches of the globe with a swipe of their finger.

Firefox Mozilla is a great browser for Windows and Mac OS. But when are they going to release a mobile phone version (besides Maemo on the Nokia N900). Now, according with German Mozilla community website, Firefox is preparing the first Beta (Fennec) for Android and it is going to be released in February. Additionally, Google Labs has listed a Labs Night Meeting Jan 26th, where they will discuss their mobile strategy and demonstrate the FireFox for Android Beta. We are just looking forward to see how the FireFox runs on the Android, later on, compare it with other browsers like Dolphin or Safari (iPhone).

Skype is already available on the iPhone and Android devices as the G1 or myTouch 3G. However, out there, are many Blackberry users still waiting Skype to be released. According with Cnet, Skype hasn’t forgotten of Blackberry users. Back in May 2009, a beta version of Skype ( only available for some Blackberry users ) was released. That version had some problems with SMS, or transfering files. Now a better version would be release eventually. We just need to wait and wait. Come one Skype, as a Blackberry user, we want to make VoiP calls too!.

Today, Google finally confirmed the Nexus One. This phone have been already on the network for a while. This is the first phone sold exclusively from Google. It features av3.7-inch AMOLED display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, compass, GPS, accelerometer, light and proximity sensor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a multicolored LED under the trackball, two mics onboard, one on the bottom and one on the back, for the purpose of noise cancellation , and the phone is naturally running the brand new Android 2.1.
