T-Mobile will launch Jet 2.0 4G this March 23th

Continuing with the 4G devices expansion from T-Mobile, this March 23th, the magenta will launch another USB modem. T-Mobile will launch the second version of its Jet USB modem, the Jet 2.0 but not reaching 4G HSPA+ speed.

The new Jet 2.0 4G will run on T-Mobile’s EDGE/3G and HSPA+ network. It will also feature wireless internet connectivity, Micro SD card slot .

Besides the Jet 2.0 4G don’t forget T-Mobile will also launch the T-Mobile Mobile Hotspot 4G

T-Mobile is preparing to launch a new 4G device. But this time, is not a phone. This is the first mifi device for the magente. The ZTE MF61 or T-Mobile Mobile 4G Hotspot. This new toy will have access to T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G Network. It will provide WiFi up to 5 devices. Broadcast 802,11 b/g, VPN support, Micro SDHC card slot.

The new T-Mobile Mobile Hotstpot 4G will e available in the coming weeks.

BTW, don’t forget that T-Mobile is launching another USB modem, The Rocket 3.0

After the launch of the Rocket 2 in August last year, T-Mobile is preparing a new Rocket to launch, this time Number 3. FCC just passed a new USB modem featuring HSDPA speeds.

This new USB modem made by ZTE (MF-683) can work in in HSUPA/HSDPA/WCDMA(Band I,II, IV) /EDGE/GPRS/GSM(quadband) networks. Services available : SMS service, Data service, Applications management,Support up to 16GB microSD card, etc.

According with FCC documentation, the Rocket 3.0 wont reach 4G speeds. (only HSDPA/HSUPA)..

Huawei E583C Mobile 3G Router coming with AWS T-MO 3G bands

FCC just passed the new Wireless Modem from Huawei, the E583C with 1700/2100 HSDPA T-Mo bands. The E583C converts 3.5G HSPA mobile signal into an umbrella of powerful Wi-Fi coverage, automatically creating safe group Internet access and individual Wi-Fi hot points for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled digital devices. The E583C can also provide simultaneous internet access to a sixth device when it is connected to a laptop computer via a USB cable. Its design is fashionable and handy (with net weight of 90 grams), and comes with a 1-inch color OLED display which can clearly show information such as operator-network details, signal strength, Wi-Fi connection status, and battery level. The E583C enables easy wireless data transmission or online gaming on a wide range of Wi-Fi-enabled digital devices, including iPads, iPod Touchs, netbooks, laptop computers, portable multimedia centers, game consoles, personal digital assistants (PDAs), handsets and digital cameras.

Other features on the device include a microSD slot for storage (up to 32GB) as well as the addition of a 1 inch OLED screen to provide details of connectivity and battery life.

T-Mobile 3G webConnect USB likely coming March 25th

After previously posting some “in the wild” (more like in our hand) pictures of the upcoming T-Mobile webConnect USB, we’ve been patiently awaiting a release date and maybe even some pricing. Our friends over at Engadget got their hands on an internal screenshot, and has brought us all of the information we could want and more. Here is what we know:

Existing Customers will be able to purchase the webConnect USB Modem starting March 25th
The price will be $59.99 per month, and you will receive 5 GB of bandwidth on T-Mobile’s 3G, EDGE or T-Mobile Hotspot. Verizon and AT&T have the same pricing for their 3G USB Modems, without the Hotspot service
T-Mobile connection manager will automatically detect the best available T-Mobile network
Customers can insert a MicroSD card into their USB Modem, and store up to 8 GB worth of fun information as if it were a USB flash drive.

Alright, so we admin we were expecting a little more from T-Mobile, the company that has to always undercut the competition at least a little bit. Our optimistic guess is that T-Mobile is giving it a test run, to see if those that purchase the USB Modem have problems or if they are satisfied. Once T-Mobile is assured that the product is satisfactory, prices may be lowered and the bandwidth limit my be raised. Obviously this is wishful thinking, but as long as we admit that, it can’t hurt, right? Right. For now, we look forward to testing T-Mobile’s 3G network on the go, while storing movies, music, and other secret documents on the 8 GB of space provided on the USB drive. Stay tuned for more!
