T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 updates and bring multiwindow function

As T-Mobile announced it, the new Galaxy Note 2 will now feature a multiwindow thanks to the new software update. With thenew  update, which measures in at 73.29MB,  a few bugs including missing calendar events and an unresponsive Gmail app will be fixed.

Multi-Window View, which can be seen in the video below, allows owners of the device to split up the Galaxy Note 2′s massive 5.5-inch display into two sections, each running a separate application. For instance, in one section of the Galaxy Note 2 ‘s display, users can run Facebook and interact with their wall, while in the other, be checking out something on the web.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 gets Android 4.1 JellyBean

T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S III is now receiving a new update and this time its Jelly Bean, Android 4.1.1, This new update will bring Google Now, new tweaks on Samsung’s TouchWiz UX. The new update is s T999UVDLJA/JRO03L. This new update will be reached by user by OTA and via Kies.

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II , the first Phone with Isis payment option

Today , another options to pay using your mobile phone has just arrived. After using NFC, and Google Wallet, Isis, is now the third option available and T-Mobile Galaxy S II, is the first phone to have it!. T-Mobile has just started over the air, the new update, T989UVLH1, improving some bug fixes and Isis Option.

From T-Mobile Support:

Beginning August 16, the Samsung Galaxy S II (ICS only) will have a software update to Android version 4.0.3 / Software T989UVLH1 via Samsung Kies only. This update improves device performance.

 

You can update in one way:

Manual download to T989UVLH1: If you want to update to T989UVLH1, you can update via Samsung Kies. Ensure you are on the latest version of Kies prior to attempting the update. See http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/ to confirm the version.

Samsung Galaxy S III getting Android 4.1 in Q3

There rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S III will receive the newest Android OS 4.1 this Q3 while the Samsung Galaxy S II in Q4.

Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be the first Samsung handset to get a taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. the Samsung Galaxy S III is one of the most powerful smartphones in the market today and it is powered by a QualComm MSM8960 SnapDragon chipset in its internals. It has a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor working in conjunction with a staggering 2GB of RAM to generate the computing power needed by the handset for a flawless performance. The handset is available in a 16GB and a 32GB model in terms of storage space and this can still be beefed up using the microSD card slot of the handset.

We just need to wait until the official release hit the air.

Jelly bean coming to HTC One S !

HTC told Engadget on Friday that it is indeed working on Jelly Bean updates for a number of local devices including  T-Mobile’s One S. And HTC spokesperson said :”We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google’s latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean.”

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G will receive and update, ICS flavor coming soon

T-Mobile is planing to release the new OTA update for the Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G, giving it a ICS flavor to your new phone. The new update is still on test mode, and once applied to the handset, it will crank up the software version of the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G to T769UVLF4 and will get rid of the E911 Wi-Fi issue of the handset.

Unfortunately, T-Mobile  still hasn’t released any solid word yet as to when the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G will finally get a tasty treat of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but this latest software update for the handset is evidence that it is still on track. Stay tuned!

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II getting ICS this June 11th

Today, T-Mobile announced via Facebook that the Samsung Galaxy S II will be update it to IceCream Sandwich this June 11th via Kies.  This update will be available via OTA, just via Kies. T-Mobile is the first carrier announcing officially this update.
