According with Pocketnow T-Mobile has canceled the new version of the Nuron. Nokia Nuron 2 — known internationally as the C5-03 is not going to be released by T-Mobile USA. Featuring a 3.2-inch screen, Symbian-powered Nuron 2 was scheduled to begin next Tuesday the 25th, with a launch set for February 4th.
It’s not immediately clear why T-Mobile decided to axe this model so close to its debut, especially since the original Nuron is said to have sold well.

Bluetooth.org has just passed a new Samsung phone, T499, possibly coming to T-Mobile. As you know phones starting with T en end with 9 are released by TMO. What is interesting Bluetooth.org relates the Samsung T499 with the Samsung GT-S5570 aka Samsung Galaxy Mini, aka Suit in some documents. Meaning?
Probably T-Mobile is planing on launching the Galaxy Suit. So far we don’t know it that will be the official name or T-Mo will pick another crazy one. Like the green color always used by the magenta.

Samsung SGH-T499 Specifications:
Quadband GSM/EDGE
Possibly 3G
Android 2.2 (Froyo)
Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR

According with AndroidSPIN ‘source, has admitted that the original Vibrant’s Froyo upgrade is ready to be pushed out at any moment (T959UVJJ2 – we report this new Software for the Vibrant while ago). However, Samsung wants to give people more reasons to upgrade to the Vibrant Plus or 4G, which comes with Android 2.2, a front-facing camera, and 4G HSPA+ radios. Additionally, the original Vibrant will be capable to enjoy 4G HSPA+ speed with the new update. There is another reason for Samsung on holding the OTA update Froyo for the Vibrant.
Quote from our Tipster:
Some disturbing things have happened the last week or so concerning our “Vibrant”. Samsung has NOT allowed us to push the update OTA for 2.2 because they feel it will decrease the value of the upcoming Vibrant4G +. While from a marketing aspect i totally understand, as the Vibrant 4G is what the original Vibrant should have been in the 1st place. But to shun off and bold face lie to customers is NOT what T-Mobile is about.
…Being that, Vibrant 4G and Vibrant have exactly same stats, added FFC and a new movie and the 4G. But i will tell you this, the original vibrant CAN utilize 4G FULLY. Yes FULLY. not what they are telling you.
Hope will get an answer from Samsung really soon
