LG GD570, the first LG 3G phone with T-Mobile AWS bands?

Today FCC gave us one big sorprise. We told you while ago about T-Mobile will start selling LG phones really soon.. and today we believe that is going to happen. FCC just passed a new LG phone, the GD570 with AWS WCDMA bands (band IV) compatible with T-Mobile USA. We dont know if this is an Android phone. So far this is the only information we have. Rumor: T-Mobile training employees on HTC Desire?

First we heard that the HTC Desire will hit AT&T in May/June, and now, according to Androincia, a manager at a T-Mobile USA store was being trained on several phones that are coming to the carrier this year, and the HTC Desire Android phone is on the list. They also said that they contact other T-Mobile employees and they said that their manager’s are off for training.

It seems that the device in question comes with a large touchscreen display, which means that it might not be the smaller Motorola CLIQ XT, but the name is still unconfirmed. For what it’s worth, considering that T-Mobile already has the Nexus One on its airwaves, there are great chances that Desire will also land there, especially since the two phones are basically the same device. However, previous rumors suggested that other carriers in the US would receive it, and this remains in the rumor side until further confirmation emerges.

Samsung T959 for T-Mobile in the works?

Yes folks, no even the new Samsung T949 is launched ( aka Jet, aka Memoir 2) is not available yet, T-mobile is working, together with Google, in another Android phone. This time, the new Samsung T959. This new Android phone will feature Bluetooth 2.1, 3G bands, aGPS, screen size 320×480, camera still unknown. The Samsung t959 probably will run 2.1 Android OS. T-Mobile May Join The Netbook Market

As we told you before, T-Mobile, working together with Dell, could be sidling into the netbook market. Back in December, we told you about a new mobile broadband made by Huawei for Dell compatible with T-Mobile 3G bands.

T-Mobile could start selling the Dell Mini 10 notebook as the first computer compatible with AWS bands. Dont forget that T-mobile also is preparing to launch its new service HSPA+ up to 21Mbps next month.

Palm Pixi hititng to T-Mobile.. in the near future?

According with BGR, Plam is preparing a new OS customized for T-Mobile USA. The phone that may T-Mobile will launch could the Pixi. This will be the second Palm phone for T-Mobile. As you remember, T-Mo stopped selling Palm phone few years ago. Well, this is just rumors.. we have to wait to get more information about it.

Sale ! Sale ! T-Mobile for Sale !… Google may buy it

T-Mobile is the 4th largest mobile operator in the U.S., far behind AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in terms of subscribers.

I’ve been a T-Mobile subscriber for the past 8 years, and in my opinion they have excellent service (voice and data) and being a GSM operator you can travel internationally without having to switch phones – a nice perk.

Deutsche Telekom may launch an initial public offering (IPO) for the US wireless unit, according to a Wall Street. The German Company has negotiated with banks including Deutsche Bank to manage the IPO. A decision is expected in the next few months. However, company officials declined to comment on the issue.

As Google makes further inroads into the telecom industry with Google Voice, and devices such as the Nexus One, they are in direct competition with the U.S. wireless operators.

But Why Google?

Because the major cable companies have already invested with Sprint-Clearwire venture. They offer the cable customers 4G. If one of them bought T-Mobile, it would be hard to integrate with the current 4G technology (WiMax). This would likely rule out the cable companies.

With Google Voice and now the Nexus One, like it or not Google is becoming a telecom operator. Perhaps their relationships with carriers will go the way of their relationship with Apple…friends first, now direct competitors .

We just hope that Google, if buys T-Mobile, to continues the good costumer service, great deal and cheap plans.

We just need to wait to see that is gonna happen.

Blackberry Pearl 9100 coming to T-Mobile?

As we told you before, RIM is getting ready for the launching of its new Pear Series device, the Blackberry 9100, or Pearl 3G. So far we had seen pictures of the 9100 with 850/1900 3G bands ( same as AT&T and Rogers use). Now, thanks to The cellularguru.com, there is another version of the 9100 with 3G bands, 1, 4 and 8. ( T-Mobile and Wind use AWS band 4, 1700/2100). This is going to be, not only the first 3G Pearl, but it will be the first Blackberry phone that supports 802.11 n.

Don’t forget also that T-Mobile will replace the 8900 for the Blackberry 8910

HTC Diamond 3 packing Windows Mobile 7 coming to T-Mobile and AT&T

Windows Mobile 7 is getting closer and it will hit T-Mobile and AT&T in Q3 2010. HTC is cooking a new WM phone, the Obsession aka Diamond 3 (GSM/HSPA version). This is going to be the first WM7 phone for T-Mobile. HTC has decided only launch a GSM version and not a CDMA because the poor sales from Verizon and Sprint.

The Diamond 3 will feature a 3.7 ” AMOLED screen, 1Ghz processor and WiFi. T-Mobile will launch soon the HTC HD2, and together with the Diamond 3, will give good options for those WM lovers.
