One of are T-Mobile Ninjas from the San Fransisco area sent in details on exactly what T-Mobile loyalists will may be seeing.  T-Mobile USA and The Recording Academy have teamed up for the 51st annual Grammy Awards. With this new partnership, T-Mobile Sidekick users and music lovers should be receiving exciting new benefits and opportunities. T-Mobile states:

“T-Mobile and The Recording Academy to Bring Exclusive Music Experiences 

to Fans Across the Country” 

T-Mobile has chosen five Sidekick users, and will fly them and a friend to Los Angeles for the 51st Grammy Awards. Sidekick users will also have the opportunity to try out to be T-Mobile’s official Grammy reporter at the Pre-Grammy Gala on February 7th. With the new agreement, we should see an “extensive, multifaceted” marketing technique from T-Mobile in 2009, in addition to a slew of musical opportunities for T-Mobile customers. 

As the rumors of a new sidekick run wild, T-Mobile seems to stepping up their focus on Sidekick advertising and sales. According to the T-Mobile Press Release, winners of the contest will receive a new “Sidekick Device.” Could this be the Sidekick LX 2009? According to sources the name of the upcoming Sidekick device is different then the leaked document we saw yesterday. Of course we’re looking for more information on the Sidekick, so stay tuned to CPS.
