T-Mobile adds Nokia Nuron on Prepaid

T-Mobile just added its first 3G phone as a prepaid. This is the Nokia Nuron in white. T-Mobile has been offering the Nokia Nuron very readily over the course of the last few months, but it’s now transitioning over to become included in the carrier’s prepaid lineup. Selling for $129.99, the Nokia Nuron will surely find its place among customers since it comes with free walk and drive navigation with Ovi Maps.

Because of the faltering economy, we’ve all had to take cuts in our living style. Some have canceled their cable, eating in more, but then there are those who have to sacrifice their cell phone services. In the third quarter alone, T-Mobile added 670,000 customers and more than half of them were prepaid subscribers.

T-Mobile will release the low-end Nokia 1680 Classic on Monday September 29th. No much to see here, just the same simple and boring specifications for a phone that fits perfectly for my grandmother. VGA camera? I thought companies don’t make VGA cameras anymore. I was expecting at least one with 1.3 megapixels which is the low end norm by today’s standards.
