Blackberry 9700 and Moto CLIQ release date rumors…again

According to BGR’s Ninjas, who we have to admit are often pretty accurate, we will be waiting a bit longer than expected for two of T-Mobile’s most anticipated devices. The Motorola CLIQ (Moto’s first Android Handset and the first in the world with MotoBLUR) and the Blackberry 9700, T-Mobile’s first 3G Blackberry.

Originally thought to be coming late September or early October, BGR has pegged these two devices with a November 11th release date. Is there any substance to these rumors? We’ll let you decide, but in the mean time stay tuned to stay on top of all of T-Mobile’s upcoming phones and devices!

Motorola CLIQ Rumors – Price and Release Date

As your leading T-Mobile News Provider, CellPhoneSignal continues to do our best to sort through all the garbage and rumors to bring you the truth about upcoming devices and services. As the Motorola CLIQ storms the Internet in the recent days, we have seen prices from… $0 to $359.99, and release dates from September to December. Our two most contested and unknown pieces of information are release date and price. While we are independently working to confirm a nice bit of information we got, here is what has been made available so far:

Release Dates:

T-Mobile: The Motorola CLIQ will be released before the Holidays
TmoNews.com: The Motorola CLIQ pre-order will begin on October 19th
BoyGeniusReport: The Motorola CLIQ is shipping from T-Mobile stores on September 29th, meaning a pre-order would begin around september 20th.
CellPhoneSignal: We couldn’t tell you where these people are getting their info from, but it looks as if everyone is pretty sure of their sources. We are hesitant to jump into the rumor-pool yet without a bit more confirming but look for our expected release date coming soon

Price:

Engadget: The first to post any rumors on this device, Engadget published a picture taken from T-Mobile’s website showing the Motorola CLIQ for $399.99 with no contract, or FREE with a 2 year contract:

CellPhoneSignal: We have seen numbers that show the CLIQ price at $359.99. Although we’re sure that means with no contract, it does contradict Engadget’s posting. For now Endgaget seems the most likely to be true (that may just be wishful thinking though) and reliable.

Breaking News: Live updates of the Motorola Conference

12:50: Motorola Blur announced and explained: Focus on social networking, connectivity, always on connected, contacts, messages, photos, videos, all synced from the phone.

12:55: Motorola Cliq annoucned (pictured above), first phone to have social networking – May overshadow some HTC Devices, definitly big competition and a hot device! 3G, 5MP camera, Wifi, Moto Blur…and much more. Specs here.

13:00: Motorola Cliq will come with tons of Google Software, and will not require the opening or closing of apps.

13:02: Motorola Cliq will be on T-Mobile USA’s network on Q4 2009, before the Holidays.

13:04: Motorola Cliq will be called “Motorola Dext” overseas, and will be released on Orange, Telephonica, America Movil, and more wireless carriers around the world.
