Neville Ray, T-Mobile’s CTO, just announced , not only T-Mobile USA will launch the new iPhone sometime this year, maybe in 3 months, but also said, that T-Mobile hosts almost 2 million unlocked iPhones running on 3G already in a few places where T-Mobile has deployed 1900 HSPA+ network like Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Virginia and Las Vegas.
Raid also said that 100.000 more unlocked iPhones are coming to T-Mobile too. Those iPhones comes from AT&T mostly.
Now with the new HD Voice service, some iPhone users can take advantage of that. The current iPhone 5 supports AMR-WB, the HD Voice codec T-Mobile uses.

As we expected, T-Mobile just announced that will start selling Apple products, including the iPhone in 2013. T-Mobile CEO just said that the iPhone Experience on TMo network will be completely different compared with other carriers. T-Mobile also is preparing to launch LTE service next year, which could support the iPhone 5 unless Apple reserves its latest model for larger carriers… We think that maybe T-Mobile will start selling the iPhone 4S first, until the LTE network is ready for the iPhone 5.
“This is not a volume commitment the size of what Sprint agreed to or anything close to it,” T-Mobile USA Chief Executive John Legere said.

T-Mobile, is the only company that does not officially carry the iPHone. But, even that..T-Mobile has more then one million customers using unlocked iPhones on its network. Not all them can use their iPhone on 3G /4G network, tha is why T-Mobile is deploying a 1900 3G/4G HSPA+ network.
Now, according with FierceBroadband Wireless, A T-Mo executive has just said that T-Mobile is not willing to make huge sacrifices to add the iPhone to its portfolio. Sprint , a while ago, paid Apple 15.5 Billion dollars for the ability to sell Apple products like the iPhone and iPad.
We have to wait and see if T-Mobile decide to offer the iPhone or just focus in only offering plans specially for people with unlocked phones, including the iPhone

T-Mobile is getting nano SIM cards on mid October. Now we have great news. Seams that The Verge has confirmed that Verizon’s new iPhone 5 is factory unlocked. Note that the carrier’s 3G service is not supported by the iPhone, unless you are in Seattle , Vegas and NYC that T-Mobile has 1900 HSPA + network ready to be used, other places you are stuck with 2G EDGE network.

Starting Wednesday, T-Mobile will start advertising that AT&T iPhone owners who are out of contract can switch to T-Mobile, just at the same day that Apple will launch the new iPhone.
“We’re seeing customers increasingly asking for more choice,” Harry Thomas, director of marketing at T-Mobile, told CNET. “We do think we have a big opportunity to sell people who are already have (an iPhone).”
- Unlimited data: T-Mobile offers worry-free, unlimited nationwide data.
- Cost Savings: Customers with unlocked iPhones can save $50/month compared to AT&T*.
- Nationwide coverage that’s only getting better: T-Mobile’s voice network reaches 96% of all Americans, and later this year, as we transform our network, introducing 4G (HSPA+) service in our iPhone-compatible spectrum, these unlocked iPhones will get a significant speed boost where these improvements are available.
In Atlanta and New York, T-Mobile will be giving away $100 gift cards to customers who sign their iPhones up for two-year contracts.

T-Mobile has just made its new “Test Drive” tool available for comparing the speed of “American’s Largest 4G Network” to other guys- Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon. However T-Mobile is not fair. The Magenta company makes the comparison using the SGS II (a 4G Phone ) with the iPhone 4S ( a 3G ). We know already who is going to win.

According with Mactrast, Not only Verizon, AT&T and Sprint are getting the new iPhone 5 ( iPhone 4G) but also T-Mobile as well. The informant, who requested to remain anonymous, went on to claim that the iPhone 5 would also operate at 3G speeds on T-Mobile US network. As you know you can buy an iPhone from AT&T , jailbreak it and unlock it to use it on T-Mobile’s network, or buying an unlocked one from Apple store. However it will only run under 2.5 EDGE T-Mo speed.
T-Mobile USA expects the iPhone 5 to launch sometime in early to mid October, same as the rest of the carriers. The source indicates :
“We expect the addition of the iPhone, and the iPhone 5′s ability to run on our 3G network to make a significant financial difference for T-Mobile.”
Micro Sim cards are ready.. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
