New Phone Huawei U3220 passed FCC featuring HSPA+ band IV.. T-Mobile?

Just today, FCC passed another HSPA+ device, but this time is a Phone. The Huawei U3220 just passed featuring GSM/ EDGE/HSDPA/HSUPA/HSPA+ band IV, and Battery 1150 mAh  same that T-Mobile uses in the USA. T-Mobile is planing of launching a bunch of HSPA+ capable phones and probably this one will eventually hit T-Mobile, maybe as Comet 2 or Tap 2?

Huawei UMG366, an HSPA+ Rotatable USB stick for T-Mobile?

Continuing with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ expansion, FCC just passed, what looks to be, another HSPA+ USB modem for T-Mobile, the Huawei UMG366.  Seams like all the UMG Huawei models end it up going to T-MO’s Network. First we had the UMG 1691 aka Web Connect Jet, then UMG 181 aka Web Connect .

Now the UMG 366 will feature HSPA+ is a rotatable USB stick that can reach up to 21mbps.  So far, this USB stick does not have a name, maybe Web Connect 4G?. Stay tuned for more information.

T-Mobile’s Android Phones for Free

T-Mobile.com is on sale offering a few Android Phones for Free. First we have the LG Optimus T, only in Black.  The LG Optimus T is an Android 2.2 device with much of the great features that previous versions of Android are unable to access (Voice Actions, Chrome to Phone, etc.). Then we have the T-Mobile Comet, that features  7.2Mbps HSPA, FM radio, integrated Swype, microSD expansion up to 32GB, and 802.11b / g / n, Android 2.2 Froyo; a 2.8-inch QVGA display. Also it is  available as a prepaid for less than 200 bucks. And finally 2 Motorola Phones, the Charm in both colors and Cliq XT.

Huawei E583C Mobile 3G Router coming with AWS T-MO 3G bands

FCC just passed the new Wireless Modem from Huawei, the E583C with 1700/2100 HSDPA T-Mo bands.  The E583C converts 3.5G HSPA mobile signal into an umbrella of powerful Wi-Fi coverage, automatically creating safe group Internet access and individual Wi-Fi hot points for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled digital devices. The E583C can also provide simultaneous internet access to a sixth device when it is connected to a laptop computer via a USB cable. Its design is fashionable and handy (with net weight of 90 grams), and comes with a 1-inch color OLED display which can clearly show information such as operator-network details, signal strength, Wi-Fi connection status, and battery level. The E583C enables easy wireless data transmission or online gaming on a wide range of Wi-Fi-enabled digital devices, including iPads, iPod Touchs, netbooks, laptop computers, portable multimedia centers, game consoles, personal digital assistants (PDAs), handsets and digital cameras.


Other features on the device include a microSD slot for storage (up to 32GB) as well as the addition of a 1 inch OLED screen to provide details of connectivity and battery life.

Huawei will offer AWS(1700/2100) HSPA+module for future laptops

Today FCC just passed the first HSPA+ module for laptops, the new Huawei EM820U.  This new module is will feature Quadband GSM/EDGE and dual band HSPA+ 1700/2100. Few months ago, Huawei also launched the first module 3G AWS that now is already built -in Dell Mini 10 already offered by T-Mobile. Now Huawei will give us the first HSPA+ compatible with T-Mobile 3.5 G bands reaching up to 21Mbps.

We just hope now T-Mobile and other laptop brands like Dell, HP and Sony will offer T-Mobile’s HSPA+ built in!.

Huawei U8100 Android phone, just passed FCC with T-Mobile 3G bands

T-Mobile has just started to sell Huawei phones like the T-Mobile Tap. Now, there is a chance that T-Mo will be adding a new Chinese phone but this time it will be an Android. Today, FCC just passed the new Huawei U8100 Adnroid phone .  This is an entry-level smartphone. The Huawei U8100 will run Android 2.0 and will have have 2.8-inch wide QVGA touchscreens and a  3.2 mega pixels camera in the back. Through WiFi and bluetooth, users can easily access the Internet and transmit data to each other. This smartphone will be launched in Europe and maybe USA in the second quarter of 2010.

T-Mobile will launch a new USB modem, WebConnect Glide, Huawei UMG 1691

T-Mobile is adding new phone recently, like the new color refresh of the Samsung Gravity 2, Nokia Nuron 5230, and soon a new Android phone from Motorola, The Cliq XT with physical keyboard. Now T-Mobile is preparing a new USB modem. Not Happy with the Jet, the magenta carrier will launch the WebConnect Glide or UMG 1691.  The new USB modem will feature Quadband GSM/EDGE, compatible with HSDPA/HSUPA. As other USB modems, the WebConnect Glide will feature a slot for a micro SD memory card, up to 8GB.  Not official news from T-Mobile about when or price the Glide will be released. Huawei EM770U Mobile Broadband with T-MO 3G band for Dell Laptop?

Seams like Huawei together with Dell are working together to bring you a Notebook (EM770U) with Global 3G bands, including T-Mobile 3G ASW. Huawei is launching a Mobile broadband EM770U compatible with Quadband GSM/EDGE and 850/1900/1700 (Band II, IV and V) HSDPA/HSUPA used by AT&T and T-Mobile. But, this broadband is going to be built in on a Dell Laptop. This is going to be one of the first laptops compatible with AWS WCDMA bands.

There were some rumors about some Dell laptops coming with T-Mobile 3G bands. That day is getting closer.
