Rumor: T-Mobile training employees on HTC Desire?

By: t-marco March 10th, 2010

First we heard that the HTC Desire will hit AT&T in May/June, and now, according to Androincia, a manager at a T-Mobile USA store was being trained on several phones that are coming to the carrier this year, and the HTC Desire Android phone is on the list. They also said that they contact other T-Mobile employees and they said that their manager’s are off for training.

It seems that the device in question comes with a large touchscreen display, which means that it might not be the smaller Motorola CLIQ XT, but the name is still unconfirmed. For what it’s worth, considering that T-Mobile already has the Nexus One on its airwaves, there are great chances that Desire will also land there, especially since the two phones are basically the same device. However, previous rumors suggested that other carriers in the US would receive it, and this remains in the rumor side until further confirmation emerges.

Just rumors guys.. stay tuned for more information

By: t-marco February 4th, 2010

Today, FCC just passed a new phone from HTC supporting AWS 3G bands. This new device is the HTC PB81120. Apparently, it wont have a physical keyboard.  We don’t have any confirmation that it will be a Android but we believe it will be a Windows Mobile. The new HTC PB81120 will feature a Quadband GSM/EDGE, dual band HSDPA/HSUPA 1700/2100, aGPS, WiFI b/g. This probably will be a second Windows Phone that T-Mobile would launch after the HTC HD2.

myTouch 2 or Slide picture leaked!

By: t-marco January 30th, 2010

T-Mobile has listened all the complains and tip about the G1 or myTouch 3G. On of the principal one is the addition of a physical keyboard. Seams that T-Mo and HTC is going to give us a slide version of the myTouch 3G, myTouch 2 or Slide..  The difference? .. a physical keyboard, camara with LED flash and probably a better processor.

Here some specfications :

  • 1300mAh battery
  • MicroSD memory cardslot is accessible without battery removal.  It is a push to insert and push to remove design.
  • Optical trackpad.
  • Camera with LED flash.
  • 3.5 mm Headset Jack
  • Slide-out 4 row QWERTY keyboard
  • 320×480 screen resolution.
  • ARM11 processor.

The picture above looks like a prototype and not a final product.. We just hope that T-Mobile gets more picky about design and features.

T-Mobile HTC HD2 has more ROM and RAM than the original HD2

By: t-marco January 24th, 2010

HTC has just recently added on its website the new T-Mobile HD2. Luckily for T-Mobile users, this version will have more RAM and ROM compared with the Original (European) HD2. The European Version only has 512Mb and 448Mb of ROM and RAM respectively. In the other hand, the magenta version will carry 1Gb and 578 Mb or ROM and RAM. . This is a big improvement for HD2, running already WM6.5 but probably upgradable to run Windows Mobile 7.

We added a comparison of 2 T-Mobile Windows Mobile phones, the HD2 and The Touch Pro2. The difference is clearly noticeable. We are just waiting also to compare the HD2 with the new Diamond 3, also coming to T-Mobile.
