Google has just announced yesterday that the latest update for its Market application started to roll out pretty much for everyone.
From Android Market’s Facebook page :”
Hey Market fans! If your phone is running Android 1.6 or higher, you can expect an update for the Android Market over the next 2 weeks! The update brings some much needed improvements like better UI, faster searches, more information of apps alike, improved ratings and much more.
Google will pushed this new update to all the Android devices that runs at least 1.6. So far I am not getting any new improvements, I will wait today and see what is new on this update.

T-Mobile and LG will roll out a new update for the Optimus T soon. An internal BestBuy product listing reveled some official specifications about the new Google phone, The Nexus S phone.
EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 and HSUPA 900/1700/2100 bands are supported for T-Mobile, HSPDA / HSUPA up to 5.76mbps in uplink and 7.2 in downlink speeds. 5MP camera and a 1500 mAh battery.

T-Mobile is the 4th largest mobile operator in the U.S., far behind AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in terms of subscribers.
I’ve been a T-Mobile subscriber for the past 8 years, and in my opinion they have excellent service (voice and data) and being a GSM operator you can travel internationally without having to switch phones – a nice perk.
Deutsche Telekom may launch an
initial public offering (IPO) for the US wireless unit, according to a
Wall Street. The German Company has negotiated with banks including
Deutsche Bank to manage the IPO. A decision is expected in the next few months. However, company officials declined to comment on the issue.
As Google makes further inroads into the telecom industry with Google Voice, and devices such as the Nexus One, they are in direct competition with the U.S. wireless operators.

Google in going to hand out its new Google phone to its employees worldwide for testing it. The new Google Phone will be made by HTC, and it will feature a full touchscreen handset, Android 2.1. Maybe thinner then the HTC Hero. Snapdragon processor, high resolution OLED display and dual mics for noise reduction and advanced voice-to-text features.
The phone will be sold by Google fully unlocked in early 2010. We are sure if the Google phone will run on T-Mobile, AT&T or both 3G bands.
Update: Google Phone is identifying itself as “Nexus One”. Additionally, Jon Gruber on Twiter says that the new Google phone will be compatible only with T-Mobile 3G bands, putting AT&T’s subscribers only to use EDGE. T-Mobile users.. this is great news for US!!

It has not been revealed whether or not the T-Mobile G1Touch will be the T-Mobile branded that the new handset could be the Huawei U8230 featured earlier this week at the CommunicAsia 2009 in Singapore.
