Google Maps for Android 6.0 just hit Android Market adding indoor floorplans to its box of tricks. When you zoom-in far enough on supported buildings, Google Maps will now display detailed indoor maps, instead of just showing blank space.
Maps 6.0 also features a new top menu element that allows you to quickly jump between features and a new Places homescreen that gathers relevant info about various restaurants, shops, and other establishments around you. It’s all available now for free if you’ve got an Android 2.2 phone or higher.
