Today, the googlenexus twitter page has announced that the Google Nexus One will get an OTA update, featuring Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

As you know, Gingerbread does not require a 1 GHz processor in order to work.Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes with a new and faster User Interface that is more easier to learn, faster to use, and more power-efficient. It has got a simplified themes of colors and menus which offers the users to navigate and control the features of the system and device very easily. Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes with a more better and soft keyboard which is optimized for faster text input and editing. The Android system takes a more active role in managing apps that are keeping the device awake for too long or that are consuming CPU while running in the background. The system also gives the user more visibility over the power being consumed by system components and running apps.

Yes guys, The new Google phone, the Nexus S, is finally here. Today Google announced its new and more advance Android phone running the latest Android OS, 2.3 Gingerbread. According to the Official Google Blog, the Nexus S will be available for purchase after December 16th “online and in-store from all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores,” Dec 16th either unlocked or with a T-Mobile plan. Price?. : $199 with a two-year T-Mobile contract or $529 unlocked.

Nexus S is designed with Samsung’s brilliant Super AMOLED touch screen technology providing a premium viewing experience. The 4-inch Contour Display features a curved design for a more ergonomic style and feel when held to the user’s face.  Nexus S also features Near Field Communication (NFC) technology which allows you to read information off of everyday objects like stickers and posters that are embedded with NFC chips. Powered by a 1 GHz Samsung application processor, Nexus S produces rich 3D graphics, faster upload and download times and supports HD-like multimedia content.

Nexus S is equipped with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and camcorder, as well as a VGA front facing camera. XDA just got some exclusive pictures of the new Google phone, the Nexus S, running the latest Android OS, 2.3 Gingerbread. This is a curve device, featuring a 720p camera.

A new “In Store” web-based shows the new Google Phone made by Samsung, the Nexus S.  The new Nexus S seams to be the new Samsung that just passed FCC on Oct 8th, GT-I9020. It will features QuadBand GSM/EDGE, AWS HSPA, possibly running Android 2.3, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth, back 5 Mp camera and front one for video chat.

This picture was taken by @anrblog, who claims he persuaded a Best Buy employee to allow him a quick glance at their system. It does look credible, but I don’t see Best Buy attribution anywhere, so take this rumor with a grain of salt.

Rumors about Google working on its second Android phone are getting stronger now. As you remember, Google launched its first Google phone made by HTC, the Nexus One, first compatible with T-Mobile 3G band. You only could buy this phone via Google Website and with T-Mobile contract, new or upgrade. Now, BestBuy revealed new information about the second Google Phone, this time the Nexus S. The Nexus S is going to be a “Pure Google”phone but this time made by Samsung.

T-Mobile is planing to launch a few phone this month and the next one. The first and closest one it the new color refresh for the Blackberry Curve 8520 now in fuchsia this May 19th for 49.99 with 2 years contract. Later on May 26th, another color refresh of the Blackberry Bold 9700 now in White for 129.99. Now in June 2nd (maybe the 16Th) we have the delayed myTouch 3G Slide in White, Red and Black for 149.99 with 2 years agreement. Also in June we have the GarminFone for 199.99.  Google just recently canceled the online sales for the Nexus One, leaving exclusively to T-Mobile to be the only USA carrier of selling it. It will be available any time on line and retail stores. There are others Samsung, Nokia and LG phones coming soon too.

Google just announced will stop selling its Nexus One smart-phone online and close its Web store, leaving only carrier store available. In the USA only will be via T-Mobile.com. T-Mobile is getting ready to sell the Nexus One online and store, the proof? actually the picture above come from T-Mobile.com so, far this is the only picture available

Google said its Web store would morph into an “online store window” where it could showcase a variety of phones built with its Android software.

We believe T-Mobile will get the Nexus One page available really soon and not lose new customers. The handset, which was manufactured by HTC Corp., has sold for $529 without wireless service. It costs $179 for U.S. customers that commit to a two-year contract.

According with Google and Broadcom, they are working on some new  drivers for the chipset into the Android repository that enable the functionality of the WiFi n in the Nexus One, which likely means that future stock firmwares will support it. When Google launched the Nexus One, in the specifications sheet was mentioned the availability of the 802.11 n, but later Google took it off.
