The first T-Mobile G1 has been unlocked thanks to the guys over at Unlock-TMobileG1.com. Now you can use the T-Mobile G1 with another sim card like AT&T or Rogers. But, what is the point to use the G1 when the 3G bands are not compatible with AT&T.

CNET today made a nice speed test comparing the iPhone 3G with T-Mobile G1. Both handsets run different web browsers and work with different carrier networks (iPhone 3G on AT&T and the T-Mobile G1 on, ……T-Mobile, duh), so there are some variables that just can’t be accounted for in this test.

The T-Mobile G1 is an amazing phone. However, like the iPhone, it has some issues or lacks for some applictaions. One was the lack of virtual keyboard. The good news is that problem will be solved soon, to be specific, next year.

The calls are beginning to pour in to T-Mobile’s Customer care with regards to their hot new flagship but it’s not for a good reason. T-Mobile is beginning to get reports of major issues in messaging, call quality, battery life, and the overall build of the phone amongst other things.

IS the HTC touch HD the G2? maybe not. We’ve have heard many rumors about the next generation of the G phones. G1, G2 and maybe a G3. However, many are giving some of their ideas to improve already the G1. Seams like some don’t like the new T-Mobile G1 before they get it, and others already sent it back.

First, HTC gave us horrible news via twitter that the new HTC HD will NOT come to USA at all. Now, according to some news from MobileTopSoft, it looks like the device may be coming to the USA via T-Mobile.

We know that the lack of Microsoft Exchange server in the T-Mobile G1gives it a huge disadvantage with other smart phones, included iPhone. However, those days are gone. Wrike and Intermedia just launched a new application for T-Mobile G1.
