FCC passed another 3G AWS phone, possibly coming to T-Mobile

By: t-marco May 8th, 2010

FCC just recently passed one mysterious Nokia phone supporting AWS 3G bands, used by T-Mobile in the USA. Additionally, a week ago, the Nokia N8 passed also FCC featuring 1700/2100 HSDPA bands, possibly hitting to T-Mo too.  We have to be clear with you guys, not all the phone that supports AWS will hit T-Mobile USA. A good example is the Nokia N900 and the Pharos Traverler WiMo phone.

However this phone still is a unclear what kind of phone it is, slider, bar, smartphone. Well, reading the FCC documents we can see that the RM-658 will use the BP-4L battery and a AC Charger AC-10U, and by descanting, those only can be used by some  Nokia E series or  the Nokia N97.  why N97?.. The reason : I also discovered that Nokia is planing to launch the N97 soon in the USA. I just found the N97 website. Its not up yet but you can have access. here is the prof.

The new Nokia RM-658 will features quadband GSM/EDGE,  1700/2100 HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR.

More information will be added soon.
