Blackberry Pearl 3G with AWS bands alrady available via Cincinnati-Bell..When on T-Mobile?

By: t-marco July 22nd, 2010

Back in April, RIM announced the new version of its Blackberry Peal. The new Blackberry 9100 is an upgrade of the 8100, featuring WiFi b/g/n, GPS, and for the first time , a Pearl with 3G bands.  There are 2 version, one compatible with AT&T bands and one with AWS (1700/2100) used by T-Mobile and Cincinnati Bell.

Well now, seams neither AT&T or T-Mobile were the first American carrier offering the Pearl 9100. Cincinnati Bell started to offer the new Blackberry Pearl 3G in the USA, for 99.99 with 2 years commitment.  According with the Road Map leaked few weeks ago, RIM will launch a new phone by September, maybe the Pearl 3G or the new Curve 9300. We just hope this beauty will land soon on T-Mobile’s line up.

Cross your fingers.

T-Mobile Blackberry Curve 9300 in Purple caught in video

By: t-marco July 7th, 2010

Again, but this time in a video. This video shows the BlackBerry Curve 9300, which will probably replace the Curve 8520. The unit in the video below comes in purple and has T-Mobile logo on it but that’s said to be the European T-Mobile carrier not the U.S. one, however, it features 3G AWS(1700/2100). The phone comes with 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support and from what we can see so far it is running BlackBerry 5.0 for now. What’s weird is that the guy that’s handling the device sent the video to the guy doing the voice over but this BlackBerry 9300 overview is pretty accurate. The phone seems to be pretty similar to previous Curve models but it’s definitely the new Curve in town to play with. Also it will come with visual voice mail.

Stay tuned for more information.
