As we told you before, RIM is getting ready for the launching of its new Pear Series device, the Blackberry 9100, or Pearl 3G. So far we had seen pictures of the 9100 with 850/1900 3G bands ( same as AT&T and Rogers use). Now, thanks to The cellularguru.com, there is another version of the 9100 with 3G bands, 1, 4 and 8. ( T-Mobile and Wind use AWS band 4, 1700/2100). This is going to be, not only the first 3G Pearl, but it will be the first Blackberry phone that supports 802.11 n.
Don’t forget also that T-Mobile will replace the 8900 for the Blackberry 8910

This is exciting.. Blackberry is planing to launch the first Blackberry Pear 2 with 3G bands . Checking and reviewing the wap uaproof for the Blackberry 9100 we found something BIG. The new Blackberry 9100, aka Striker has 3G Bands I, II, V and VI ( compatible with AT&T but not with T-Mobile). But that is not the only improvement. It will feature 802.11 b/g and n. This is going to be the first Blackberry with WiFi 802.11n . Will be faster and smoother. I bet T-Mobile USA will get one version of the Pearl 2 with AWS 3G bands.

We just wait for this beauty to be realized soon.

According with the Uaprof, The new Blackberry Curve 8910 will not be a 3G device. It will run 5.0 OS but only with GPRS/EDGE quadband. This is just information taken form the wap prof. Skype is already available on the iPhone and Android devices as the G1 or myTouch 3G. However, out there, are many Blackberry users still waiting Skype to be released. According with Cnet, Skype hasn’t forgotten of Blackberry users. Back in May 2009, a beta version of Skype ( only available for some Blackberry users ) was released. That version had some problems with SMS, or transfering files. Now a better version would be release eventually. We just need to wait and wait. Come one Skype, as a Blackberry user, we want to make VoiP calls too!.
