AT&T and T-Mobile USA have fill up a file requesting the US FCC for its approval for the proposed $1 billion worth of transfer in wireless airwaves. T-Mobile will receive AWS spectrum from AT&T in 128 markets, a $3 billion cash breakup fee and a seven year UMTS roaming agreement.

T-Mobile has said it needs additional spectrum to keep pace with its larger competitors. It is the only major national carrier with no plan to roll out the faster fourth-generation mobile broadband service known as LTE, and it lost 849,000 contract customers in last year’s first nine months.

Tom Sugrue, T-Mobile’s senior vice president said “This additional spectrum will help meet the growing demand for wireless broadband services,” from a email statement from the Wall Street Journal.

Just yesterday showed you the first official pictures of the new Dell Streak 7 , aka M02M, hitting T-Mobile USA, in a few weeks. The new Dell Streak 7 as you know, its a 7 ” tablet featuring Android OS, double camera for video calls, and more. Now FCC passed the Dell Streak 7. The interesting part here is the same device will carry, not only the AWS Bands used by T-Mobile, but also 850/1900 3G used by AT&T and all South Americas countries.

That does not mean the Dell Streak 7 will come to AT&T. Probably Dell decided to build it that way so people can buy it unlocked directly from DELL.com

That is a great and interesting feature for this device. I believe AT&T customers are happy to hear that they will have to opportunity to use it running 850/1900 3G bands.

We just hope that the Dell Streak 7 will be capable for HSPA+, so far any documentation on FCC says that. Just HSDPA, WiFi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

UPDATE: according with FCC , the model is Dell Looking Glass Tablet, but the model No. is M02M, same as the Dell Streak 7.

UPDATE 2 : The new Dell Streak 7 aka M02M will have the Huawei EM820U module , and yes, it will feature HSPA+

FCC

The next generation iPad is suppose to arrive early next next, maybe Q1 2011. The new iPad model will run on both the GSM and CDMA based networks around the globe. This would allow the iPad to pick up 3G connectivity with virtually every major phone carrier here in the US, Europe, South America, and Asia

No wonder Rupert Murdoch is teaming up with Apple for an iPad only newspaper called Daily. At only $0.99 cents a week, the global reach of the Daily could be substantial.

Anyway, the next generation iPad with its CDMA and GSM will be capable of running off the 3G networks of T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, here within the United States.

Rumors about T-Mobile getting the iPhone have been surfing the net for months, .. many months but now that the AT&T will not longer be the exclusive american carrier to have the iPhone , rumors about T-MO and VZW getting the phone are everywhere.

Videotron, a Canadian Wireless company is preparing to launch a new version of the iPhone.. not is the iPhone 5.. its the new iPHone 3GS with AWS 3G bands. According to a company executive vice president, an announcement about a compatible iPhone coming to the carrier should occur “in the coming months”.

“Wired editor-in-chief Chris Anderson noted that he had been informed by a “T-Mobile manager” that the carrier would begin offering the iPhone 3GS (but not the iPhone 4) by the end of this year.”

Well that indicates that there is a big chance that the magenta will carry, finally, an apple device.
