Google may buy WhatsApp for 1 Billion Dollars?

WhatsApp , the mobile application that has virtually wiped out the SMS, could be the next millionaire acquisition of Google , that would be willing to pay a billion dollars for it. According with Digital Trends Google and WhatsApp already are talking about a new acquisition.  For now, rumors indicate that multiple messaging applications Google would be brought together in a new service called Google Babble and could some emphasis on mobile messaging.

WhatsApp beta bring new Holo theme for Android users

WhatsApp has just release a new Beta versions of its application adopting a new look. The new UI looks more solid, elegant and easy to find the options. Before you had the emoticons and attachments together, now the first ones are close to the keyboard ( perfect place ) and the attachments remain on the top right.

Facebook for Android brings updates, now you can change your cover photo!

The Official Facebook Android application has just updated to the version 2.2 bringing this change :

• Change your cover photo right from your timeline

Users can now change the picture of the timeline just holding on the picture and select change photo. To do that you have to upload the photo into an album, then start the process of applying the cover. now , what are you waiting, grab your update now! Google Play Store

Today a bunch of applications have been updated. The first is Lookout Security Antivirus. The new update includes performance improvements like decreasing memory usage, faster scan times and faster backup times. Also some bug fixes.

Facebook Messenger also updated its applications adding switch between multiple conversations with in-app notifications and include friends or friends in conversation.

Finally Instagram, has the option to share likes to facebook, search for users and tags in the explore tab and bug fixed for loading more comments.

FlipBoard is avialable for all, thanks to XDA developer user

Samsung Galaxy S III showed the new Flipboard for Android during the last unpacked event. The app runs perfectly on the Samsung Galaxy S II, and reportedly works on older devices like the original Galaxy S and various Android tablets as well according with BGR.

FlipBoard combines Twitter, Facebook, and Google Reader streams to create a “social magazine.” Even though it is created on the fly from sources of your choosing this “magazine” still manages to make thing visually compelling. Google Maps and Adobe Flash update: better battery life and Android 4.0 support
