Google to T-Mobile : Your 3G Network is Poor !!

By: t-marco January 26th, 2010

Google and T-Mobile have been working on fixing the 3G problem on the Nexus One. As you know, the Nexus One has some issues trying to connect to T-Mobile’s 3G network, jumping from 3G to EDGE like crazy.

Google has completed its research into the issue and is laying the blame at the feet of the weak 3G network ran by T-Mobile. A bug was also found in the software of the handset during the investigation and a fix is incoming to address the issue.

Take a moment about this.. if you have a G1 and a Nexus 1, and both are capable to work on T-Mobile’s 3G network and only one phone (the G1) can connect to it.. do you blame the network or the other phone? ..

Confirmed!! Motorola Sholes “MotoRoi” will arrive soon with T-Mobile 3G bands

By: t-marco January 22nd, 2010

Yes T-Mobile users, we had confirmed that the new Motorola device that just passed FCC few weeks ago carrying WCDMA AWS T-Mobile 3G bands (1700/2100) bands is the Motorola Sholes. Previously, Motorola in its website, leaked some information about the Sholes and Sholes Tablet hitting to T-Mobile USA.  Now, knowing that Motorola phone with ID IHDP56KC6 is the Sholes, we just have to wait until Motorola or either T-Mobile announces officially the Sholes. Rumors about a new Motorola Android hitting to TMO in March 10th are going around the net.

HTC is making a new version of his Espresso phone, the Magic with physical qwerty keyboard. The user profile indicates the new Magic, aka myTouch Slide, aka myTouch 2, will have the same specifications of the myTouch 3G, the only difference is that will carry a QWERTY keyboard. Also will feature Bluetooth 2.0, a 667 mHz processor. So far we have this information. Motorola Ruth MB511

We got it first. Motorola is working on another Android phone. First was the Motorola Sholes Tablet MB710 this time its called Motorola Ruth or MB511. The new Motorola Ruth will feature Moto Blur, initially Android 1.5 but we believe will be running 2.0 or 2.1. The screen size of this phone seems to be small, only 240 x 320 ..what? .. very small, ( same as  Nokia N97 ), Qwerty Keyboard, processor Qualcomm MSM7200A 528MHz, Bluetooth 2.o with EDR, WiFi, b/g, and aGPS. Te Motorola Ruth or MB511 will run on GSM and will have 3G bands ( HSDPA/HSUPA).  Maybe T-Mobile or AT&T will pick this phone.

For now, this is the only news we got.. so stay tuned for more information about the new Motorola Ruth MB511.

T-Mobile announces Android Tablet PC, sorry guys just in the UK

By: t-marco January 9th, 2010

T-Mobile Hub Android Tablet

T-Mobile …UK…has announced a new Android tablet that it claims will be the centre of connected family life. A 15-inch tablet, it’s powered by the Vega device released by Innovative Converged Devices, and is apparently designed to sit in the kitchen, providing a central unit for the family to use.

It will come equipped with a T-Mobile SIM and Wi-Fi for connectivity, and features voice and video calling ability for hands free communication. A full web browser is also included on the Android system, which comes with core applications installed but doesn’t have access to Android Market, which T-Mobile says is due to other applications being tailored for smaller screens.
