T-Mobile Adds more HSPA+ 42 places, LTE vendors too!

By: t-marco May 8th, 2012

T-Mobile USA on Tuesday said that Nokia Siemens Networks and LM Ericsson AB will supply the network equipment for its new wireless broadband network, a project worth $4 billion.

T-Mobile is commissioning a “4G LTE” network.  It will use, in part, radio frequencies handed over by AT&T after the bigger company backed off its deal to buy T-Mobile due to opposition from federal regulators.

T-Mobile also plans to launch 4G HSPA+ service in the 1900 MHz band in a large number of markets by the end of the year. T-Mobile also announced that its nationwide HSPA+ network has expanded to deliver a competitive 4G experience to well over 220 million people in 229 markets. In addition to an expanding 4G footprint, the 4G experience T-Mobile provides is pervasive among its customer base.

By: t-marco March 14th, 2012

I am fan of XDA developers and obviously i am running a custom ROM on my SGSII. But now an XDA user has hacked , rooted, flash a custom ROM and radio (T989UKLV1) and that was enough to unlocked the 1700/2100 HSPA+ bands that T-Mobile USA uses.

The Galaxy Note features a  5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED panel up front, with a 1280 x 800 pixel count, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. That’s a step up in clock speed from the 1.4GHz Exynos processor in the original Note. Now T-Mobile users have the chance to use the Galaxy Note without changing carriers.

HTC and T-Mobile will present the thinnest smartphone on T-Mo network, the HTC One S, coming this April

By: t-marco February 27th, 2012

HTC announced the new HTC One S coming to T-Mobile this April. The HTC One S features an ultra-thin 7.9-millimeter case, a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor,  8-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal storage plus 25GB of free cloud-based Dropbox storage for two years,  Sense 4.0 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The HTC One S is a 42 Mbps phone, meaning that it’s capable of maxing out on T-Mobile’s network on 42 Mbps coverage areas. That’s helpful for pulling down videos on the 4.3-inch 960 x 540 Super AMOED display. And the handset has Beats technology. Beats is a high-end sound brand with Dr. Dre’s name behind it.
