Gosh, the last few days everything seams to be rumors and more rumors. Now, there is chance that SonyEricsson together with T-Mobile will release their own version of the new Android phone SonyEricsson Xperia X10.

According to a list of specifications for this device that has apparently leaked out of Sony Ericsson, there will be two models for the U.S. market. One will support the wireless frequencies used by AT&T’s HSPA service, the other will offer the frequencies used by T-Mobile USA.

T-Mobile USA: tri-band 3G (900, 1700, 2100 MHz)

AT&T: quad-band 3G (800, 850, 1900, 2100 MHz)

Both will supposedly offer quad-band GSM/GPRS (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz).

But wait a minute ? Did Nokia USA just launched the new N900 with T-Mobile 3G band? and really.. if every 3G AWS phone will hit T-Mobile where is the Nokia N900 on T-Mobile lines up?..

Well, we just hope that SonyEricsson adn T-Mobile will launch the Xperia X10.

SonyEricsson Xperia X10 Specifications:

The Xperia X10 will be chock full of high-end features, starting with its 4 inch, WVGA+ (480 x 854 pixel) capacitive touchscreen. In addition, it will run Android on a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Another high-end feature will be the 8.1-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and video support. This will offer face and smile detection, as well as image stabilization.

To set it apart from the competition, Sony Ericsson has built some special apps for its new Xperia models, including one that can bring together messages from a variety of sources, including Facebook, Twitter, photos, e-mails, and texts.

The X10 will be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) GSM worldphone. There will be two versions: one with the 3G frequencies used in N. America, including T-Mobile USA, and a second with the frequencies used in Europe, Asia, etc.

Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi g will also be included, and so will a GPS receiver and a microSDHC memory card slot.

Business users should be happy to hear that this Sony Ericsson model will have Exchange ActiveSync, in addition to support for consumer e-mail systems. It will also have an Office suite.

Stay tuned for more information about the launch.

The Samsung Memoir is a problematic phone, mainly because of how it stacks up to its competition. It is undoubtedly the best cameraphone on the market, not just because it has the most densely packed sensor, but also because it took great pics under the best lighting conditions. But there were serious problems in the images, and poor low-light performance means we wouldn’t recommend this phone over a simple point-and-shoot. Though it boasts the highest pixel count, this phone isn’t much improved over the Samsung Behold, which costs about $100 less. So, you’re paying $100 for 3-megapixels and bragging rights. While we liked the calling features and the great calling interface, we still had trouble with the phone’s touchscreen, and we found the TouchWiz interface to be more cosmetic than useful. It’s great to see that cameras on phones are being taken more seriously, but we think that Samsung, and other phone manufacturers, can produce a better high-megapixel phone than this one.

Pros: Great calling features and interface. Best cameraphone on the market. Impressive navigation performance. Looks cool, like a slick little point-and-shoot camera.

Cons: Camera performance doesn’t measure up to a cheap, 8-megapixel point-and-shoot camera. Low-light pics were horrible. Screen occasionally unresponsive, especially the keyboard. TouchWiz interface looks pretty, until you try to use it.
