T-Mobile will get 41Mbps HSPA+ in 2011

By: t-marco July 6th, 2010

During the last Manager meeting held in Seattle, T-Mobile representative announced that the magenta will be reaching up to 41Mbps on its HSPA+ Network.  Right now, in some markets, T-Mobile offers 21Mbps data speed. But in 2011 it will reach up to 41Mbps,which would allow them to not have to switch to a new 4G technology to compete with Verizon’s LTE network due out at the end of 2011. Don’t forget a new USB Modem  The WebConnect Rocket 2.0 is coming soon

The other benefit of HSPA+ is that all HSDPA devices (all of T-Mobile’s Android line up as well as the majority of their other phones) will all get a nice speed increase, unlike WiMax/LTE that you will need to buy a special LTE/WiMax phone for.

Go! T-Mobile, you can make it even faster !!
