According with AndroidandMe, the new Android phone from Motorola, The Motus, will support WCDMA Band 4 used by T-Mobile USA. Motorola has registered the trademark “Backflip” which could end up being the official name of this phone.

Yes folks, Samsung is preparing a new phone with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (same as the Omnia II), the new Samsung T949. However, this is not the greatest news here. Apparently this phone will land soon on T-Mobile USA. As you know all the T series ending in 9 will end on T-Mobile and I believe this won’t be an exception.

T-Mobile representative Amanda Ginther has confirmed that it will rollout HSPA 7.2 data access across its entire network currently consisting of 240 cities covering 170 million points of presence and expanding to 200 million by the end of the year.
T-Mobile is preparing for an upgrade to 21Mbps HSPA+ access (Trial in Philadelphia) beginning in the middle of next year. Handsets in T-Mobile’s 3G lineup that are compatible with the current HSPA 7.2 upgrade include the T-Mobile G1, myTouch 3G,Touch Pro2, Dash 3G, Motorola CLIQ and the forthcoming Samsung Behold II.

T-Mobile is planing to launch the new Android device by Samsung, the Behold 2 on Nov 18th for only 199.99 with 2 years contract or 449 without it. It features a full-touch model backed by a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, and video recording, a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and microSD expansion up to 16GB. The Behold II features an adaptation of the company’s TouchWiz UI and has a 3D “cube menu” for rotating among common features like web browsing , YouTube access and Amazon music store.

Additionally, the another cheap phone has been launched today, the new T-Mobile Tap. It features a 2 megapixel cam, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, and a choice of twocolors for $79.99 on contract. The Jet is free.

The first week of November has been busy for phone manufacturers and carriers as they gear up, quite literally, for Nov. 16th, the official first day of the holiday shopping season. And T-Mobile, after losing a quite significant number of subscribers on the Q3, is preparing to offer great deals and new smart phones. T-Mobile will push more the selling of the first Android phone by Motorola, the Cliq. The Samsung Behold 2, will not stay behind. It is going to launch on Nov 18th.
