T-Mobile will re-launch Bobsled VoIP for Facebook next week

By: t-marco May 20th, 2011

After the launch failure of Bobsled VoiP Service via Facebook, T-Mobile is re-launching the service next week.  T-Mobile USA spokesperson confirms the operator will relaunch Bobsled either Monday or Tuesday.

For those readers who don’t know what is Bosled, it enables users to send private or public voicemails to their friends’ Facebook walls. Neither Facebook user needs to be a T-Mobile subscriber–only the caller is required to have installed Bobsled. Moving forward, T-Mobile plans to introduce additional Bobsled features including video chat and smartphone/tablet accessibility.

And soon, Android and iOS applications

Other features will be rolling out soon said AOL including the ability to take a snapshot of everyone taking part in the chat..Currently Apples iPad and iPhone wont work with AV because it uses Adobes Flash but that is likely to change soon as the development team explores other platforms and mobile apps.
