Right on schedule, T-Mobile just launched its new Android phone from Samsung, the Vibrant, price:  199.99

The Samsung Vibrant offers the new Amazon Kindle for Android application, providing direct access to more than 600,000 books, including a vast majority of The New York Times Best Sellers and new releases. Before consumers purchase a book, they can read the first chapter for free. With Kindle for Android, customers can also sync their reading with their other Kindle devices.

The Samsung Vibrant sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, promising a vivid, sharp color HD-like viewing experience on the screen’s WVGA resolution (800 by 480 pixels). There’s also the new Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and six-axis sensor optimized for media and gaming, promising users a great experience while reading, watching or playing.

The Samsung Vibrant is also the latest smartphone in T-Mobile’s lineup that can benefit from enhanced speeds in locations with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.
