T-Mobile USA Starts HSPA+ Deployment in Philadelphia

As we told you few days ago, today, T-Mobile USA revealed that it has started deploying HSPA+ technology on a limited basis in Philadelphia, with plans to launch the technology “nationwide” by mid-2010. T-Mobile just today also launched 3G network in Honolulu.
HSPA+ offers theoretical peak data rates of 21 Mbps. T-Mobile is also deploying HSPA 7.2 – which offers data rates up to 7.2 Mbps – in some cities in the coming months as an interim step. T-Mobile confirmed that they also plan to deploy LTE in the future, although they have not announced a timeline as of yet.
