T-Mobile Unlimited Loyalty Plans get official on MyT-Mobile.com

T-Mobile $49.99 calling plan details

We told you it was coming, but it still comes as a surprise to some T-Mobile customers as they login to MyT-Mobile.com and see this great deal. February 18th has come and gone, and we have received multiple reports from users that have received offers for the $49.99 unlimited loyalty plan. Some are calling this a “groundbreaking” move from T-Mobile, and while we wouldn’t go that far, we are thrilled that T-Mobile yet again stayed ahead in the pricing curve by offering customers some of the lowest prices in the industry, for what JD Power and Associates has rated the best wireless company in America. Keep it tuned to CellPhoneSignal for more exciting news coming soon. Sidekick users, we have some cool news coming your way (Nothing to pull your hair out over though).

It will roll out! you will see. If Boost Mobile, Metro PCS keep hitting them hard with the Unlimited Plans, T Mobile will loose to many customers! This will make them half to roll it out. But, T mobile would win in the long run.

Sprint, who owns Boost Mobile is hurting, with record losses. All they would need to do is stop the excitement with boost and Sprint will continue to fail like GM.

Metro PCS try’s to strong arm to many dealers into selling there products. there like the cell Mafia! problem is they really are small. So they would be easy to take out of the game! If T-Mobile continues to roll out this Unlimited plan and work with there Indirect channels nationwide, they could be dominate again. Even give AT&T a run for there money.

What carriers don’t understand is the half to have a balance between Direct and Indirect channels. If they continue to roll our there Retail Partner programs and try to bring on smaller dealers in the rural areas, they would see major net activations. But they half to be the FIRST to roll out a $50.00 unlimited plan Nationwide. If AT&T or Verizon due it first, it wont have the same impact.

    Just my two cents!

hello all,i am a new t mobile customer as of today, i used to be verizon customer, too mnay issues to name, but price was crazy, well i got off phone with t mobile rep,and he told me on March1st 2009 the new plan for 49.99 will be avalible for unlimited minutues, and of course 5 faves dont matter anymore, but it will still stay in your phone, and for the dude that pays 10.00 for 1000 text, they now have a plan for unlimited texting for 14.99.. well good luck all. t mobile customer service is good so far,we will see how long it last ..lol

  17. jim on February 28th, 2009 1:19 am

for got to add,it is going nationwide, that 49.99 plan,so yeah how about that,awesome.. its for new customers and exssiting customers..so hurray for t mobile.. compared to competor 39.99 400 min> verizon

  18. coldcc on March 2nd, 2009 1:17 pm

I logged in to my tmobile and the site came up with the option so I changed my plan to unlimited!!

  19. Nicole on March 2nd, 2009 1:22 pm

I woke up this morning and saw this promotion and when i called tmobile they confirmed that i could sign up and its for a limited amount of customers. i felt “priviledged” lol. i signed up and now im super happy right now because i initally was carrying the $39.99 promotional 1000 anytime and unlimited nights and weekends and also paying for the mobile to mobile and when i saw this plan i knew i had to get it. so im actually saving money because the unlimited plans are priced well over $100! so now im not paying for the mobile to mobile and the only thing im waiting on is for the sidekick unlimited to drop a little and ill be ready to go. not that im complaining about thesidekick unlimited, i only pay $19.99/month.

  20. Nicole on March 2nd, 2009 1:23 pm

oh and ive been reading some comments and a lot of people are saying its only for customers in Cali- i live in boston mass so obviously its a company wide promotion

  21. henry on March 3rd, 2009 10:59 pm

i just add a fourth line as seperate account just with unlimited minute for my father, so now he only going to pay 39.99 a month plus tax and still got my credit. and my bill will remain the same…how awesome is that…. i love t-mobile, they are the best

  22. Ms. Philli on March 4th, 2009 3:49 pm

Just so everyone knows the unlimited for $49.99 is for existing cusotmer ONLY! and as many others seem to know with 22 months of tenure and your account must be in good standing so not for everyone who pays late each month. If youre not pre qualified dont expect to call and threaten to cancel as it wont work. Gives you the option only if you deserve it for paying ontime and being with them for over that 2 years! have fun and good luck

  23. Ted on March 26th, 2009 12:50 pm

Be careful guys, there is a catch. I asked customer service, if I took this unlimited plan promotion, I will not be able to go back to my old plan without new contract.

  24. April on March 31st, 2009 12:07 pm

What a pleasant birthday surprise. I signed on to pay my bill today and this pops up. I paid 49.99 for 600 MyFave minutes and 5.00 for test messaging. Now I’m paying the same for unlimited minutes. I called to double-check that this isn’t a scam of some sort but it’s not.

    Thanks T-Mobile!!!

  25. Angel101 on April 6th, 2009 10:03 pm

This plan is available in Oregon not just California or Boston as some are saying which leads me to believe this is probably going nationwide. And Ted who said there was a catch, “I asked customer service, if I took this unlimited plan promotion, I will not be able to go back to my old plan without new contract.”

Why would you want to go back to your old plan? This is the best plan on T-mobile if you qualify unless you don’t think you can swing the $50.00 bucks per month. Sure there are cheaper plans but the minutes as you know will be waaay limited and if you end up going over or roaming (as often happened with me), you could end up paying that much or MORE anyway!

So I jumped at this plan. T-mobile does have an unlimited plan that is $99 per month. That is what I had before. I was looking to downgrade since times are tough and I fgured could probably get by with 1000 minutes for 49.99. I was really happy when I logged on and saw this awsome offer. I am NEVER leaving t-mobile. This is a great plan and since generally things increase in price over time and with inflation, holding onto this plan is what I will do…even if one day I end up with a corporate cell phone paid for by the boss.

I in New Orleans and been with T Mobile since 2002, customer service advised me I could not get on the plan because of my location and type of existing plan.
I pay $200 per month for 2 line unlimited voice and text. I was told they are targeting the $60 per month plans. I will be looking more into this.
