I think T-Mobile run on Dual networks is the best things to do. No other carriers can beat that. Dual Networks will not have drop call. It is makes sense for T-Mobile to buy Sprint and keep CDMA network sell off iDEN to whoever want to buy it.

I think it would be a great idea to keep GSM & CDMA networks right now new smart phone for Sprint came with GSM sim card slot that mean new smartphone can ran on both networks. Globally supports GSM networks.

Or you buy sprint, rename it T-mobile and dispose of the GSM network. Then your 10B buys 2.5x the customer base an inplace 3g network with a larger footprint.

i think it would be a great idea only if T-Mobile would give a GMS phone for free to every Sprint costumer and shut down CDMA and iDEN.. but that will be very expensive

Totally a bad idea. Makes no sense for a GSM company to buy a CDMA/iDEN company. It would be like when Daimler bought Chrysler. T-Mo would end up selling it off later for a big loss.

This is a great idea, even still. DT should buy Sprint. Sell off the WiMax to Clearwire, let iDEN die on the vine - or sell it to whoever will buy it, and then give the remaining Sprint customers 90 days to come into the store and get a new phone and sign a new contract. Phone network mergers have happened in the past. This really isn't a problem. It really boils down to a supply-chain issue. Could T-Mobile ramp up its phones fast enough to satisfy the demand. Ok, I'm an optimist, but someone had to say it.
