T-Mobile says: myTouch 3G will run Android 2.1 very soon!

According with Techland, Andrew Sherrard the VP of Production and Innovation, informed that first generation myTouch 3G owners will soon get an update that modifies the  Android UI to match the updated UI Android 2.1 that T-Mobile has built for the myTouch 3G Slide.  Including key features like the Genius Button sans hard Genius Button button. The Question is , that button on the original myTouch 3G will work as Genius Button? .. lets wait to see how the myTouch 3G responds to that! .
