T-Mobile, HTC, and Windows Mobile get together for “Needs, Meet Solutions” campaign

By: Shawn June 12th, 2009

Three of the big-hitters in the wireless industry seem to have teamed up for a camapaign that will be based on the slogan “Needs, Meet Solutions.” Sporting two sexy pictures of the Touch Pro2 and T-Mobile Dash 3G, T-Mobile’s summer line-up alongside their advertising campaign is a major step in the right direction. At least in our opinion. Those loyal T-Mobile customers, think back only a few years ago when the Samsung T809 slider with a rotating camera was T-Mobile’s hottest high-end product. Now, with devices like the Touch Pro2, myTouch 3G, Dash 3G, Bigfoot, and other high-end Windows Mobile and Android devices coming down the tubes, T-Mobile seems to be aligning themselves with the other 3 big players in the wireless industry. Slightly over a year ago, we were told that the decision had come down to move away from carrying only cheap, affordable, and simple devices, and to begin bringing devices that are often found over at T-Mobile UK. We are thrilled that T-Mobile has stuck to their guns, and is bringing out some of the nicest, hottest, and newest devices to hit the market. Check out the upcoming events and promo page that can be found at NeedsMeetSolutions.com.

Can’t wait to get my hands on the Tmobile Touch Pro2 (aka Wing2). Will this phone also have a stylus like the Tmobile Wing?

Hopefully there will more than just eye candy out of this, which is all the URL is at the moment.

I would have liked to have seen S60 included along with Windows Mobile. I know some high up the ladder in T-Mobile mistakenly equate not carrying S60 = no demand for S60.

The bulk of my device purchases in the last two years have been S60 devices at full price (6290, N78, 5800). I get S40 devices because that is what is tossed to me by T-Mobile at re-up time.
