T-Mobile G1 will get Microsoft Exchange Server

By: T-Marco October 17th, 2008

We know that the lack of Microsoft Exchange server in the T-Mobile G1gives it a huge disadvantage with other smart phones, included iPhone. However, those days are gone. Wrike and Intermedia just launched a new application for T-Mobile G1. These two small companies have collaborated and produced ContactSync, a  wireless tool that will sync your phone contacts with the contacts on your Exchange server. Future versions will be expanded to include full two-way syncing that will merge and not duplicate contacts. How much is going to cost? ..FREE.

Thanks for letting your readers know about ContactsSync. I have an important update about the application. ContactsSync is in the App Market officially now and is available for all the G1 owners to download and enjoy. The application was approved by the Google representatives.

I think that once Exchange hits the Android platform, there will be a good chance that this becomes the most popular OS.

I just found this site that is claiming to have a full Exchange sychronization product coming early next year. The site is http://www.aardvarkforandroid.com
