T-Mobile just announced its first Android 2,2 device, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Galaxy Tab has two cameras — a rear-facing 3.2-megapixel camera and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video chatting — while the current models of the iPad have none. Samsung claims up to 7 hours of video playback for the Galaxy Tab; Apple says its iPad can last up to 10 hours.

Coming soon, T-Mobile®’s first Android-powered mobile tablet

Featuring a big, 7″ touch screen, the slim, sophisticated Samsung Galaxy Tab is perfectly designed for portable entertainment.

  • Watch the latest movies and entertainment or experience thousands of Android Market widgets, games, and apps.
  • Flash 10.1 support for rich Web browsing, Web video, and amazing browser-based games.
  • Share moments on the go with a rear-facing camera for capturing and sharing photos, and a front-facing camera for video chat.

With the Galaxy Tab, there’s always a new and compelling way to enjoy media, brilliantly!
