It sucks politics get involved with these phones….This Galaxy S 4G should've come out last yr instead of the Vibrant…..But the release of the Mytouch 4G prevented that from happening……And i still can't believe the GS4G doesn't have a camera flash!!!!! It's 2011!!!! Every smartphone should have a flash enabled camera!!!!! Again, i think the TMO wanted to hinder the GS4G just enough to make the MT4G slightly "better"…..

I'm looking at the Samsung Galaxy S 4.0 or 5.0 wifi only and use it with this new 4G Hotspot. I'm off contract now but will use the full discount on the 4G Hotspot and to lock in for 2 yrs the new 5 gig $49.95 Tmo broadband rate which will carry me well into AT&T land if the "deal" goes through in a year. I too would have bought the Galaxy S 4G when it was first available…IF IT HAD A FLASH!!! Glad now that I didn't cause the AT&T deal means much higher rates and instead of slowing your data speed, overage fees.

Try to look at it differently. Don't upgrade or buy the Galaxy S 4G and buy the G2X next week. It has all the bells & whistles. At least that's what I'm going to do. I currently own a Vibrant and there's no point to upgrading to something identical (except for the increased data transfers and front-facing camera) with no internal flash memory (16GB). Cheer up.

Keep your plan. If anything down the road they decide to "force you" to change plans then you leave.
I'll be leaving if that's what they do. If not I'll stay. I already pay so little with TMO there's no sense of going to any other company at this point.
