Sidekick 2009 in the wild!

Our good friends over at Hiptop3 got their hands on this nice little surprise here. Folks, lets say hi to this next beauty joining the Sidekick family. The Sidekick 2009, pictured above, will feature some small changes compared to T-Mobile’s most recent Sidekick device, the Sidekick LX. The 2009, codenamed the “Blade,” should hold up to it’s name by being thinner, and more contoured. Oh, and we can’t forget that nice little thing called 3G. As the first 3G device in the Sidekick family, we are looking forward to testing the browser speed and quality to determine if this messaging device will also be a strong browsing device. T-Mobile plans to offer 3G to 200 million people by the end of the 2009, doubling the 100 million people covered at the end of 2008. With some advertising and some hype, the Sidekick 2009, Wing II, G2, and other upcoming T-Mobile 3G devices should sweep the wireless industry’s lineup of high-end phones as 2009 progresses.
