Samsung T499 is the Samsung Galaxy Suit?
Bluetooth.org has just passed a new Samsung phone, T499, possibly coming to T-Mobile. As you know phones starting with T en end with 9 are released by TMO. What is interesting Bluetooth.org relates the Samsung T499 with the Samsung GT-S5570 aka Samsung Galaxy Mini, aka Suit in some documents. Meaning?
Probably T-Mobile is planing on launching the Galaxy Suit. So far we don’t know it that will be the official name or T-Mo will pick another crazy one. Like the green color always used by the magenta.
Samsung SGH-T499 Specifications:
Quadband GSM/EDGE
Possibly 3G
Android 2.2 (Froyo)
Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
WiFi b/g
240Ă—320 resolution screen

See…this is the bullshit that makes me upset with T mobile. Samsung is screwing you over, ATT carried a bunch of their stanky phones and now t mobile is.
While the Gravity did very well, gravity 2 and 3 are good pre-teen sellers, et. al. It's best that the relationship with Samsung be prepped to get pushed out of the way. Please I beg of T mobile, stop the push for the crap phones and get really real about devices they are laying on their network. Who is this phone geared towards….

Another crappy device. I wonder why is Samsung making some many crappy phones? It's not like they don't know how to make a good one…but they insist with these ugly phones.

I do not see what has "set off" you guys about this device. There are numerous price points in the mobile device market. Frequently at lower price points thewre are fewer features. If this is not at your price point look elsewhere. Not every phone is going to be a Nokia N900 nor a Motorola Atrix.
I have my share of gripes about T-Mobile released Samsung products at many different price points including the Behold and the Katalyst. I've also had decent T-Mobile released Samsung devices such as SGH-T719, the Blast, the SGH-T509 and Trace (SGH-T519). The point is, until I used them I didn't know if one device or another was going to meet my needs. I'm no Samsung fan but they do make a decent model from time to time.
