Back in May, CPS reported the round map for T-Mobile showing the new Samsung Houdini Coming to the magenta carrier this fall. Now, we got a shot and more specifications of this phone. Surprisingly, the phone featured in the video runs on WinMo OS and not Android.
The Samsung Houdini looks like the Samsung OmniaPRO B7610 and the indicated interface and specifications are virtually identical to the latter handset.
The specs sheet include 800MHz CPU, 7.2Mbps HSDPA (possibly 1700/2100), four-row sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen with WVGA (800×480) resolution, TouchWiz UI, Wi-Fi, GPS, 500MB internal memory with support of expanding up to 32GB, 5MP auto focus camera with power flash, FM Radio with RDS, DivX support, DNSe support, 3.5mm earphone jack, Opera browser, TV-out and 1500mAh battery. The video says the phone runs WinMo 6.1 OS but the chances are it will come pre-installed with WinMo 6.5 OS.
We don’t know when the Samsung Houdini will be available, neither if T-Mobile would launch this phone int he coming months. Just keep in touch and don’t forget to check our gallery pictures and upcoming phones page.
