Samsung F480 (Behold) comes with Games ..sort of
Samsung keeps pumping new versions of its popular F480, aka Behold, touchscreen phone, which was sold in more than 5 million units worldwide. So far we’ve seen Hugo Boss, La Fleur and Pink editions of the popular Tocco phone. Now Samsung is out with yet another variation called F480 Games Edition. The question is? It is going to be a software update? or Java enable?.
As you can expect from such name, the idea here was to pre-install a number of games in the device. Among the titles that are included out-of-box are “Pacman”, “Who wants to be a millionaire 2009″ and “Millenium Poker.”
Rest of the specs are identical to the original F480 and include 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth, and of course that ultra-cool TouchWIZ user interface.
Samsung F480 Games Edition should be available in Europe in mid-June, when interested users will be able to grab it for 399 EUR. We hope this edition will be available for T-Mobile costumers or current owners of the Behold could buy those games.
Stay tuned for more infomation.

I wonder if there has been any development on this game front. The touch screen is the natural environment for Tetris. If you know someone with a Behold or a Nokia 5800 or other touch screen phone with Tetris loaded on it ask to play a few rounds – you’ll see what I mean.
It would be interesting to see an eight game package for $24.95 that the end user could assemble from a collection of thirty or so titles. With the new web front-end T-Mobile has put together hopefully they increased functionality so an end user could make selections and have the games pushed to their Behold and the amount added to the bill.
