Samsung ATIV S aka Samsung T899, coming to T-Mobile ?

Back in August we told you about the new Windows 8 Phone coming to T-Mobile, the new Samsung Odyssey aka Samsung T899 coming to T-Mobile. This will run a Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset, a dual-core 1.5GHz system-on-chip, a 4.65″ 720 x 1280p Super AMOLED HD display, a 8-megapixel rear camera. 720p front camera, 1GB RAM and HSPA+ and LTE capable. The new T899 will be the first WM8 phone running on LTE TMo Network.
The T899M is identical to its brother T899. So expect the New Odyssey coming to T-Mobile soon

My guy says that T-Mobile was offered a high-end Samsung WP device but declined. Ultimately, I hope that he didn't have all of his facts straight!
