Official Facebook Application coming to Android soon?

An official Facebook Android application has been peculiarly missing from Android Market. However, according to the latest rumor posted by TechCrunch. They put a Facebook app for Android up and available as early as the end of this week!
The Android Facebook app is built around the stream and status updates, which should tie in neatly with Android’s beautiful notification system. Facebook’s Android app will launch with a more limited set of features than its current, and very popular, iPhone app. For instance, it won’t have an inbox. Damn it!.
