Nokia N900 UI

We are giving you all the information we can find about the new upcoming desktop phone for T-Mobile, the new Nokia N900 with Maemo 5 UI. Following the announcement yesterday of the Maemo-powered N900 check out the demo film with the impressive UI.

The Nokia N900 introduces the next wave of high-performance mobile computing devices based on Maemo, a software environment built on Linux. The next offering in the Nseries range is powered by Maemo 5, a fully open source operating system hailing from the computing world. The N900 will allow you to have dozens of windows, services and apps open and running at the same time in the background.

“Maemo 5 is the closest anyone has come to creating a PC-like experience on a mobile device. Maemo has the full internet, with no compromises,” says Jonas Geust, Vice President, Nokia Nseries. “The platform allows virtually unlimited possibilities to personalise the UI and benefit from the vast amount of applications of the web. The Nokia N900 represents a significant marker on where Nokia is going with Maemo.”

To even use the term ‘iPhone-killer’ is naive. The consumer market has decided what the standard is, and it’s the iPhone.

That said, there’s plenty of market share left over for fringe-devices; and this new Nokia looks like a lot of fun.

I would have to disagree currently if we are talking about the consumer market Blackberry (RIM) would definately be the standard holding 58% of the U.S market while the iPhone Holds 18%. So keeping that in mind the iPhone killer is already out there.

Whenever we talk regarding property administration, we want to speak about real home management – not only the surface items that anyone can determine like how you can change the bulbs or phone the local plumber, but engaging in the nut products and mounting bolts of what must be done to create a property prosperous.micro business maven
