I checked with T-Mobile 9 March and they told me there was no launch date for this device. I have no doubt you were told what your T-Mobile people knew and I was told what my T-Mobile person knew. This is one of my complaints about T-Mobile - they treat information like they are the NSA or something.

In any event, when it comes out my wife wants one. I've never seen her excited about a phone before.

Who told you it has got Wifi.Nokia 5230 has 3G and GPS but no Wifi. If you need Wifi you can go for Nokia 5530. Nokia 5230 carries most of the useful features of 5800. It just misses TV Output and Wifi. And yes it doesn't belong to XpressMusic range any more.5230 has a mediocre 2MP camera but video recording is just the same as 5800. For $200 i don't think we should expect more than this after all it is a true smartphone based on Symbian Operating System. You may check out its full review here - http://nokia5230.com/nokia-5230-full-review/

The screen resolution is kind of odd being 640x360? Most wvga phones are 640x400.
