Nokia 5230 hitting to T-Mobile?
This is new and good stuff. We know that T-Mobile is planing to launch the new Nokia N900. However, remember about another rumor Nokia phone coming to T-Mobile?. That was the first time we talked about the Project Dark/Black. Everything indicates that it might be true.
Today FCC just passed a new 3G Nokia phone. This new phone apparently looks like the Nokia 5230, but this version contains AWS 3G bands. Only used by T-Mobile, for now.How do we know about this is the 5230? Running a search about what kind of battery it uses, BL-5J, ONLY used by the 5800, 5230, N900 and X6. Additionally, matching the label localization drawing, it matches only with the Nokia 5230.
This is just rumors about a new Nokia 3G phone coming to T-Mobile line up.

This is a nice little phone and the case in completely changeable like the past phones of this type. Is very light and fits nicely in ones hand. The Java VM is the latest version and can be updated unlike some of the previous phones.

The screen resolution is kind of odd being 640×360? Most wvga phones are 640×400.

also supports Widescreen 16:9

Who told you it has got Wifi.Nokia 5230 has 3G and GPS but no Wifi. If you need Wifi you can go for Nokia 5530. Nokia 5230 carries most of the useful features of 5800. It just misses TV Output and Wifi. And yes it doesn't belong to XpressMusic range any more.5230 has a mediocre 2MP camera but video recording is just the same as 5800. For $200 i don't think we should expect more than this after all it is a true smartphone based on Symbian Operating System. You may check out its full review here – http://nokia5230.com/nokia-5230-full-review/

I checked with T-Mobile 9 March and they told me there was no launch date for this device. I have no doubt you were told what your T-Mobile people knew and I was told what my T-Mobile person knew. This is one of my complaints about T-Mobile – they treat information like they are the NSA or something.
In any event, when it comes out my wife wants one. I've never seen her excited about a phone before.
